Walk – Lisbon Street in the 1950’s
Join AHS for an informative and nostalgic walk tour of downtown Lewiston, led by Stan DeOrsey.
Drawing on his extensive knowledge of Lewiston’s Lisbon Street, Stan will bring to Life the era when his family’s record store was part of the city’s bustling downtown scene with stories of the stores of Lisbon Street and the people who worked there.
Date: Saturday, August 8, 2026 (Rain date Sunday 8/9)
Time: 9:30 am (Walk will be 60-90 minutes long)
Meeting Place: Androscoggin Historical Society, 93 Lisbon Street, Lewiston
Capacity: Limited to 12 people
The walk will begin at the Historical Society building, continue toward Pine Street, cross Lisbon Street, proceed toward Main Street, and return to the Historical Society.
